Terms and Conditions
Pilot version · Last updated 15 October 2026
These terms govern your use of TwoEven, a pilot relationship and household-balance app. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
About these terms
In short: By using TwoEven you agree to these rules.
TwoEven is a pilot (test) version provided free of charge. Features may change, be suspended or be withdrawn at any time without notice. We don’t promise the app will be available, uninterrupted or error-free.
Just for fun
In short: A light-hearted tracker, not professional advice.
TwoEven is a light-hearted tool for logging household turns, savings goals and shared moments. It is not professional advice of any kind — not relationship counselling, financial, legal or medical advice. Don’t rely on it for decisions about your relationship, money or wellbeing.
Balances, scores, badges and history are informal records for fun and reflection — not measurements of anyone’s worth or contribution.
Your account
In short: You must be 18+, keep your login safe, and you can unpair any time.
You must be 18 or over to create an account, and you’re responsible for keeping your sign-in details confidential and for everything done under your account.
Pairing with a partner is voluntary, and either person can unpair at any time. When you unpair, shared records stay with the couple space and your moments become private again. We may suspend or remove accounts that misuse the app.
Your photos and posts
In short: They stay yours. Only share what you have the right to.
You keep ownership of the photos, text and other content you add. You give us a limited licence to store and display it only as needed to run the app — for example, showing your moments to you and, once paired, your partner.
Don’t upload content that is unlawful, offensive, or that you don’t have the right to share. Profile photos and avatars are private to your account; couple moments are shared with your paired partner by default.
Play nicely
In short: No hacking, harassment or anything illegal.
You must not misuse the app: no hacking, scraping, uploading malware, harassing other users, or anything unlawful.
Adverts
In short: Offers from other companies are their responsibility, not ours.
The free version may show sponsored offers and links to third-party sites. We’re not responsible for third-party products, services, prices or websites — any purchase you make is between you and the third party.
Premium
In short: Cancel any time; payments usually aren't refunded. Pilot payments are test-only.
Premium is a paid subscription that removes adverts and lifts free-plan limits. Payments are processed by our payment provider; we don’t store your card details. You can cancel at any time, taking effect at the end of the current billing period; except where the law requires otherwise, payments are non-refundable. During the pilot, payments may run in test mode and no real money will be taken.
Your data
In short: Most data lives on your phone. We never sell it, and you can ask us to delete it.
Most activity (turns, goals, plans) is stored on your own device — clearing your browser data or losing your device may delete it, and we can’t recover it. Account data, photos and paired records are stored on our hosted backend so they can sync and be shared with your partner.
We use your sign-in email only to run the service and never sell your personal data. You can ask us to delete your account and stored content at any time via the feedback form.
No promises
In short: The app comes as it is — we can't guarantee it's perfect.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don’t warrant that the app will meet your requirements, be accurate, or improve your relationship or household arrangements.
Our liability
In short: If something goes wrong, our responsibility is limited — to £50 if you've paid nothing.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Subject to that, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss — including loss of data, loss of profits, loss of goodwill, or any emotional or relationship consequences arising from use of the app — nor for loss or corruption of data stored on your device, or content shared between you and your partner.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or £50 if you have paid nothing.
Changes
In short: We'll tell you about big changes in the app.
We may update these terms from time to time and will show a notice in the app for material changes. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Law
In short: English and Welsh law applies.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer law gives you the right to bring proceedings in your home country.
